How Hong Kong postal codes work
Hong Kong has no postal codes at all. The territory is compact and its street naming unambiguous, so Hongkong Post never introduced one. When an overseas form insists on a postcode, the conventions are 000000 or 999077 (the code mainland systems assign to Hong Kong) — but a genuine Hong Kong address carries no such field.
How a Hong Kong address is written
In Chinese the order runs largest to smallest: region (Hong Kong Island / Kowloon / New Territories), district, street and number, building, then floor and flat. In English it reverses completely, starting from the flat. Both are standard — just never mix them.
